RESOLUTION NO. 7353
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING CERTAIN SALARY COMPENSATION
CHANGES AFFECTING EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE CARLSBAD POLICE OFFICERS'
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, representatives of the city and the Carlsbad
?olice Officers' Association have failed to reach agreement
zoncerning the salary and other terms and conditions of employ-
nent for Fiscal Year 1983-1984; and
WHEREAS, such failure to reach agreement has resulted
in an impasse and said impasse having been resolved by the
City Council under the authority of Section 2.48.130 of the
Carlsbad Municipal Code;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct;
That the City Council authorizes and directs the City
Manager to implement the provisions of the salary plan for
police employees of the city for Fiscal Year 1983-1984 as shown
on Exhibit A, attached hereto, which will remain in effect until
superseded by the City Council.
