7394 RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR A MOBILE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AMBULANCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING OFFICER TO REVISE THE SPECIFICATIONS AND TO INVITE BIDS FOR A MOBILE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AMBULANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
as determined it is necessary and in the public interest to
cquire a Mobile Intensive Care Unit ambulance: and
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for a
,obile Intensive Care Unit ambulance; and
WHEREAS, the specifications for said Mobile Intensive Care Unit
imbulance were unsuitable: and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the public
.nterest requires the Council to exercise its descretion under
;ection 3.28.120 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code and reject all
)ids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
If Carlsbad as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the bids for the Mobile Intensive Care Unit ambulance
are hereby rejected.
The the Purchasing Officer of the City of Carlsbad is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed to revise the
specifications hereinabove referred to.
That the Purchasing Officer of the City of Carlsbad is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed to publish in
accordance with law, Notice to Bidders, inviting bids for
a Mobile Intensive Care Unit ambulance hereinabove
described in accordance with revised specifications
hereinabove referred to.
