RESOLUTION NO. 7398
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PROCEED WITH THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A POLICE FIRING RANGE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to proceed with the
design and construction of a police firing range, and
WHEREAS, this project should be funded from the un-
appropriated balance of the General Capital Construction fund,
and
WHEREAS, the unappropriated balance in the General Capital
Construction Fund, after all allowances for current capital
projects, is about $354,000, and
WHEREAS, the appropriation of $65,000 for this project will
reduce the unappropriated balance to about $289,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad that staff is hereby directed to proceed with
the design and development of a police firing range and that
$65,000 is hereby appropriated from the General Capital Construc-
tion fund balance to the police firing range project.
