RESOLUTION NO. 7428
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING A LEASE AGREE-
MENT FOR A BRANCH LIBRARY SITE WITH LEUCADIA
COUNTY WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad and Leucadia County Water
listrict entered into a lease agreement for a branch library
site on District property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
2lected instead to lease space in the Plaza De La Costa Shopping
Zenter for the branch library ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
2ity of Carlsbad as follows:
1. The lease agreement dated June 9, 1983 between Leucadia
County Water District and the City of Carlsbad is hereby
rescinded; and
2. Resolution No. 7225 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED, APPROVED.AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 6th day of EC- , 1983, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council PBnkrs Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Prescott and Chick
NOES: None
