A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNICL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PURCHASING OFFICER TO MAKE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE OF AN ELECTRONIC TARGET SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
has determined it is necessary and in the public interest to
purchase a Duelatron Electronic Target System; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the City for said Duelatron
Electronic Target System can only be met by American Training
Systems, 12 Skellman Lane, St. Paul, Minnesota 55110; and

Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct,
2. That the bidding procedures are dispensed with in
WHEREAS, Section 3.28.090(3) of the Carlsbad Municipal Code
provides that the City Council may dispense with bidding
procedures when a commodity can only be obtained from one vendor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of

accordance with Section 3.28.090(3).
3. That the Purchasing Officer of the City of Carlsbad is
hereby authorized and directed to negotiate for the purchase of
said Electronic Target System.
