RESOLUTION NO. 7456
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AWARDING CONTRACT NO. 3158 TO BAKER CONSTRUCTION.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad,
California, for construction of the Coastal Storm Drains, Contract
No. 3158; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for this project was submitted by
Baker Construction in the amount of $79,390.00; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed to be transferred in the
amount of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) from the Undesignated
Capital Construction Fund Balance Account No. 30-00-00-0914, and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. 30-18-30-3158 for
this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $79,390 by Baker Construction for Contract No.
3158 for the construction of the Coastal Storm Drains is hereby
accepted, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
therefor.
3. A transfer of funds of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000) to
Account No. 30-18-30-3158 from Account No. 30-00-00-0914 is
approved.

4. Any informalities in the bidding process are hereby waived.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Zarlsbad City Council held on the 3rd day of January I
1984, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Medxrs Casler, -is, Kulchin, Chick and Prescott
NOES : None
ABSENT: JWne
