A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CfTY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF A CHINESE KIMONO FOR THE
L I BRARY
WHEREAS, a donor who wishes to remain anonymous has presented a
Chinese kimono valued at $1,250 to the City of Carlsbad Library; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant to
Sect ions 37354 and 37355 of the Cal ifornia Government Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the donation of the kimono on behalf
of all citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held on the 3rd day of JanUary ~ 1984, by the following
vote, to wit:
