RESOLUTION NO. 7460
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AWARD OF LIBRARY SERVICES AND
CONSTRUCTION ACT GRANT FOR AN ADULT LITERACY PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library in conjunction with the Oceanside
'ublic Library and Vista Branch of the San Diego County Library, has been
3warded $73,000 in Library Services and Construction Act (LSCA) funds for an
adult 1 i teracy grant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, wishes
to accept said grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the award of $73,000 is accepted and authorization to expend
'unds is granted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
:arlsbad, California at a regular meeting held the 3rd day of J~~UZU~ ?
