RESOLUTION NO. 7462
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENCY RESERVE
TRACT FOR TIME AND HATERIAL SERVICES WITH BEAK EXCAVATING AND PAVING
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CON-
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has suffered storm damage on the west side
of Carlsbad Boulevard which requires immediate corrective action; and
WHEREAS, Bear Excavating and Paving was the successful low bidder for a
time and material contract with the City of Oceanside to perform similar work;
and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Fund 01-1950-2499 (Contingency Reserve) for
unprogrammed needs;
NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
as follows:
1. The transfer of $64,500 from Fund 01-1950-2499 (Contingency Reserve)
to Fund 01-51-10-2410 (Street Repairs) is authorized, and
2. The City Manager is authorized to execute a contract with BearExcavatii
and Paving on the basis of time and material at the rates approved by the City
of Oceanside on a contract for similar services executed on September 26, 1983.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
held on the 3rd day of Jan- , 198 - 4, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Wrs Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Prescott
