RESOLUTION NO. 7467
ATTEST:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT WITH RICHARD S. WHITMORE
FOR LABOR NEGOTIATIONS AND CONSULTATION
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the need to have
the services of a labor relations negotiator and consultant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:

That the above facts are true and correct.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to sign the agreement for labor negotiations and
consultant services which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, as Exhibit A.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 17th day of JanuarY
by the following vote, to wit:

Gear Dick:
This letter will serve as an agreement between you and the
City of Carlsbaa for labor negotiation and consultation
services.
You agree to represent the City of Carlsbad in negotiations with the Carlsbad Police Officers' Association and consult
with the City Council and staff as determined necessary by
the City Manager.
The city agrees to compensate you at the rates stated in your November 10, 1983 letter, plus reasonable travel expenses.
The estimated cost of your services is approximately $8,000
to $10,000,
