RESOLUTION NO. 7487
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF CHESTNUT AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby declares
its intentions to proceed, under the provisions of Public Streets,
Highways, and Service Easement Vacation Law of 1981, to vacate a
portion of Chestnut Avenue, located in the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego, State of California, particularly described
on Exhibit A.
2. A public hearing shall be held at the City Council
Chambers at 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California, at 6:OO PM on
March 6, 1984, for the purpose of hearing all persons interested
in or objecting to said proposed vacation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 7th day of ~ebruary , 1984, by the
following vote, to wit:

EXHIBIT A
PARCEL 1:
The Northwesterly 10 Feet of the Northeasterly Half of Lots 7 to 16, inclusive, and the Northeasterly Half of that portion
of Lot 6 lying Northwesterly of that parcel of lznd conveyed to Richard E, Coe and Marguerette I. Coe, by deed dated May I, 1947 and recorded May 27, 1947 in Book 2402, Page 299 of Official Records of San Diego County, all in Block 29, in the Townsite of Carlsbad, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 535, filed in the
Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, May 2, 1888.
ALSO the Southwesterly Half of the alley adjoining said Lots.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion, if aay, being described in
deed recorded November 1, 1983 as File No. 83-396268 of Official Records.
PARCEL 2:
The Northwesterly 10 Feet of the Southwesterly Half of Lots 7
to 16, inclusive, and the Southwesterly Half of that portion
of Lot 6 lying Northwesterly of the parcel of lmd conveyed to Richard R, Coe, et ux, by deed recorded May 27, 1947 in Book 2402, Page 299 of Official Records of San Diego County, all in Block 29 in the Townsite of Carlsbad, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map there- of Ns, 535, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County, May 2, 1888.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion, if any, being described in
deed recorded November 1, 1983 as File No. 83-396268 of Official Records.
PARCEL 3:
The Northwesterly 10 feet of all that portion of vacated First
Street lying between Fractional Block D and Block 29 in the
Townsite of Carlsbad, according to the Map thereof No. 535 lying Southwesterly of Chestnut Avenue and Northwesterly of
that parcel of land conveyed to Richard R. Coe, et ux, by deed
recorded May 27, 1947 in Book 2402, Page 299 of OffLcial Records
of San Diego County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion, if any, being described in deed
recorded November 1, 1983 as File No. 83-396268 of Official Records.
