RESOLUTION NO. 7511
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR A
ORIZlNG THE PURCHASING OFFICER TO INVITE BIDS WITH REVISED SPECIFICATIONS.
TRAILER MOUNTED CABLE RODDING MACHINE, AND AUTH-
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined
it is necessary and in the public interest to acquire a trailer mounted cable
-adding machine; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for a trailer
nounted cable rodding machine; and
WHEREAS, the specifications were misinterpreted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the public interest requires
ihe Council to exercise its discretion under Section 3.28.120 of the Carlsbad
lunicipal Code and reject all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
is follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bids for the trailer mounted cable rodding machine are hereby
*ejected.
3. That the Purchasing Officer of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorize1
ind directed to proceed to publish in accordance with law, Notice to Bidders,
inviting bids for a trailer mounted cable rodding machine hereinabove described
in accordance with specifications hereinabove referred to.
