WHEREAS, a low bid of $412,035.68 has been submitted for
and Grand Streetscape Project; and
WHEREAS, $315,756 is available from Community Development
Grant funding: and
WHEREAS, additional funding is available from the Community
3evelopment Block Grant Contingency fund administered by the County
San Diego; and
WHEREAS, $125,000 is needed as an interim appropriation from
general capital construction reserve until additional funding
received from County of San Diego;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
of Carlsbad as follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 7597
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, TRANSFERRING AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE STATE AND GRAND
STREETSCAPE PROJECT
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That $125,000 is hereby appropriated from the general
tal construction reserve fund to provide interim financing
the State and Grand Streetscape Project.
3. That the city staff is hereby authorized and directed to
in additional funding for the State and Grand Streetscape
pro ect from the Community Development Block Grant Contingency fun< 1
4. That upon receipt of additional funding from the Communit:
Dev lopment Block Grant contingency fund, staff is directed to e
del te this appropriation and reimburse any expense incurred in th( e
gen ral capital construction fund.
