RESOLUTION NO. 7693
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CLERICAL STAFF STRUCTURE CHANGE FOR THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1984-85.
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $17,641 were approved in the City of Carlsbad
984-85 budget for the position of Secretary I1 in the Engineering Department;

WHEREAS, the administrator of that department has requested the deletion of
his position and the substitution of a Word Processor Clerk I with required
und ng of $14,191; and
WHEREAS, the temporary Word Processing Clerk will be replaced by a temporary
lerk-Steno at no additional expense;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad as
01 lows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The City Engineer and Finance Director are herewith authorized to make
he aforementioned personnel substitutions.
