RESOLUTION NO. 7739
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5376, As AMENDED BY
RESOLUTIONS NO, 5408 AND NO. 6236 AND NO. 6998, ISSUING A
CERTIFICATE OF CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO YELLOW CAB
COMPANY OF SAN DIEGO, INC., TO REVISE THE SCHEDULE OF FARES.
WHEREAS, the City Council by the adoption of Resolution Nos. 5376, 5428,
6236 and 6998, has approved issuance of a Certificate of Convenience and
Necessity to Yellow Cab Company of San Diego, Inc., to operate taxicab service
within the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, Yellow Cab Company of San Diego, Inc. has requested approval for a
revision to the schedule of fares with the City of Carlsbad;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
as follows:
1. That the above citations are true and correct.
2. That Section 3(c) of Resolution No. 5376 is amended to read as
follows :
"The schedule of fares to be charged shall be $1.40 for the first 1/7
mile; $ .20 for each additional 1/7 mile; $ .20 for each minute of
waiting time or traffic delay."
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Carlsbad City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 18th day of September , 1984, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Madxrs Casler, Lewis, Chick and Prescott
