RESOLUTION NO. 7768
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE
AND INSTALLATION OF A WATER PAYMENT DROP BOX
FOR THE CITY HALL PARKING LOT. -
WHEREAS, citizens have requested that the City provide improved service to
water customers by providing a drop box for water payments; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has responded to this request by locating a
suitable box with appropriate security features; and
WHEREAS, this box will be located in the City Hall Parking Lot where it
will be convenient to those who desire to drop City payments at City Hall at
all hours of the day; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available to finance this purchase in the
unappropriated reserve of the water fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
that 1) the purchase and installation of the drop box as described in Exhibit A
attached hereto is hereby approved and 2) that the sum of $530 is hereby
appropriated to the Water Department budget to finance this purchase.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad on the 2nd day of October , 1984, by the
following vote, to wit:
