HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-11-13; City Council; Resolution 78201 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 WHEREAS, RESOLUTION NO. 7820 A RES0 UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBPD, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON THE 6th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1984, DECLARING THE RESULTS THEREOF AND SUbH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE REQUIRED BY LAW. 1 pqrsuant to Resolution No. 7665, adopted on the 10th WHEREAS, a Feneral Municipal Election was held and conducted in the City California, required by WHEREAS of barlsbad, County of San Diego, State of on luesday, the 6th day of November, 1984, as lawi; and , stgggered term4 for Council Members when the Mayor is an elected position; and ~ I I WHEREAS, ndtice of said election was duly and regular'ly given in time, form and matter as provided by law, that voting precincts were properly established, that election officers were appointed, andithat in all respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat, received and canvassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as I I I I I required by thh provisions of the Elections' Code of the State of California for the holding of elections in cities; and I WHEREAS, C'ty Council Resolution No. 7666, adopted on the f 10th day of luiy, 1984, authorized the Board of Supervisors of the County of ban Diego to canvass the returns of said election; and I I 1 l 2 ,' i canvass, said the City Clerk. The Cilty Council does declare and determine that: 1 Claude Council 2 3 4 "Bud" Lewis was elected as Member of the City of said City for a full term of four years; and 5 6 Ann 3. of said Kulchin was elected as Member of the City Council City for a full term of four years; and 7 8 7.
