A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE A PORTION OF CARL.SBAD BOULEVARD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby declares
its intention to proceed, under the provisions of Public Streets,
Highways, and Service Easement Vacation Law of 1981, to vacate a
portion of Carlsbad Boulevard between Sequoia Avenue and
Chinquapin Avenue, located in the City of Carlsbad, County of
San Diego, State of California, particularly described on Exhibit
rrA".
2. A public hearing shall be held at the City Council
Chambers at 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California, at 6:OO P.M.
on March 5, 1985, for the purpose of hearing all persons
interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the

STREET VACATION - CARLSBAD BOULEVARD
CITY 0% CARLSBAD
A portion of Lot 1 and Lot 2 in Block "I" of Palisades, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map 2747, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, February 5, 1923, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the most Northerly corner of Lot 18 of said
Block "1" of Palisades: thence South 55" 29' 00" West
135.32 feet along the Southeasterly boundary of Sequoia Ave, said Avenue being 50.00 feet in width; thence leaving the
said Southeasterly boundary of Sequoia Ave South 36" 50' 54"
East, 0.32 feet to the True Point of Beginning and to a point on the arc of a non-tangent curve concave Easterly, having a radius of 25.00 feet, a radial line to said point
bears North 43" 42' 59" West; thence South 36" 50" 54" East
99.78 feet to a point on the Southeasterly boundary of said
Lot 2: thence South 55" 28' 54" West, 23.61 feet along the said Southeasterly boundary of Lot 2 to a point on a non- tangent curve, concave Southwesterly and having a radius of
7544.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve 74.43 feet through a central angle of 0" 33' 55"
to a point of reverse curve, said curve being concave
Easterly and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northerly
along the arc of said curve 35.86 feet through a central angle of 82" 11' 46" to the True Point of Beginning.
