RESOLUTION NO. 7930
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FOR THE REPAIR OF THE ENCINA OCEAN
OUTFALL LINE
WHEREAS the damaged Outfall line is currently allowing
the release of effluent discharged from the Encina Water
Pollution Control facility in an area close to the Carlsbad
beaches, and
WHEREAS the immediate repair of this line is necessary
to avoid continual restrictions on access to the beaches in
this area, and
WHEREAS the City of Carlsbad will be assessed $57,320.00
for its share of the total repair costs of $400,000, and
WHEREAS funds for this repair are available in the
Sanitation Fund unappropriated reserve,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California that funds in the amount 05
$57,320.00 are hereby appropriated for this project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 12th day of - March , 1985
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Council Pkn-bers Casler, Lewis, Chick and Petthe
NOES: None
