A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA OPPOSING
SB 191 AND SCA 8
I WHEREAS existing law does not allow annexation of land to
I cities across county boundaries, and
WHEREAS allowing such annexations would cause unnecessary
confusion in providing services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the Carlsbad City Council is opposed to
SB 191 and SCA 8 that would allow annexation across county
boundaries.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 19th day of
March , 1985, by the following vote, to wit:
