RESOLUTION NO. 7963
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING THE PROGRESS REPORT OF KOLL CONSTRUCTION AND APPROVING THE
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FACILITIES AT THE
CARLSBAD SAFETY AND SERVICE CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has been authorized by a vote of the people
to construct a $15.3 million dollar Safety and Service Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved funds in the Fiscal Year 84-85
budget for the construction of Phase I of this project; and
WHEREAS, the Construction Manager (Koll Construction Co.) along with the
Architect (Ruhnau, McGavin & Ruhnau Associates) have developed the plans,
specifications, and estimates;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The plans, specifications, and estimates for the construction of the
facilities at the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center are approved.
3. The City Clerk is directed to make appropriate advertisement for such
work as is contained in Bid Packages 3 thru 7.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 2nd day of AFjril , 1985 by the following vote, to
wit:
