RESOLUTION NO. 7971
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A STREET
RESERVATION OF IVY STREET OVER A PORTION OF
LOT 13 AND LOT 14 OF MAP 8404.
WHEREAS, a portion of Lots 13 and 14 of Map 8404 was offered
€or public street purposes and rejected by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Section 66477.2 of the Subdivision Map Act states
that a rejected Offer of Dedication shall remain open and that
the legislative body may by resolution at any later date rescind
its action and accept and open said street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has
determined it to be in the public interest to accept said
rejected offer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Zity of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Council rescinds its previous action rejecting
the portion of Ivy Street as shown on Map 8404.
3. That the rejected Offer of Dedication of a portion of
Lots 13 and 14 of Map 8404, reserved for street purposes, is
hereby accepted.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause a
Certificate of Acceptance to be recorded
