RESOLUTION NO. 801 2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD , CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN BY THE ADOPTION OF AN ARTS ELEMENT. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD
CASE NO.: GPA/A 85-1.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on March 27, 1985
hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to
consider an amendment to the General Plan to establish an Arts
Element and adopted Resolution No. 2427; and
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission has determined that
GPA/A 85-1 would not have significant impacts on the environment
and a Negative Declaration was prepared and filed on March 14,
1985 in satisfaction of the requirements of the City of Carlsbad
Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1980 and the California
Environmental Quality Act,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the findings of the Planning Commission as set
forth in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2427 constitute the
findings of the City Council.
3. That the General Plan of the City of Carlsbad is
hereby amended by the adoption of an Arts Element as shown on
Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof. ...

the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California held on the

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NO. 3168 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF POINSETTIA
LANE,AND CARLSBAD BOULEVARD INTERSECTION.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the
2onstruction of Poinsettia Lane and Carlsbad Boulevard intersection, Contract
qo. 3168; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for the construction of Poinsettia Lane
2nd Carlsbad Boulevard intersection was submitted by William Corn Co., in the
mount of $183,082.50; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the project account, Account No. 110-
320-18-40-3168 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
:arlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $183,082.50 by William Corn Co.for Contract No. 3168
For the construction of Poinsettia Lane and Carlsbad Boulevard intersection is
iereby accepted, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
I contract thereafter.
