HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-05-21; City Council; Resolution 80241 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 8024 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, FINDING CARLSBAD CABLEVISION AND PLIANCE WITH THE CITY FRANCHISE AND STATE LAWS PERTAINING TO DEREGULATION. LA COSTA CABLE TV TO BE IN SUBSTANTIAL COM- WHEREAS, Carlsbad Cablevision and Rancho La Costa Cable TV have filed to deregulate customer service rates under pertinent State statutes; and WHEREAS, the City has caused a review of the performance of both Cable TV operators, their compliance with the City franchise agreement and the State statutes and the review has found them to be in substantial compliance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, as follows; 1. The above recitations are true and correct. 2. The City Council finds that Carlsbad Cablevision and Rancho La Costa Cable TV are in substantial compliance with all franchise provisions and State statutes relating to rate deregulation. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held 21st day of , 1985, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council IWtkers Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine NOES : None ABSENT: - MARY H.
