RESOLUTION NO. 8043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AND TESTING
AND DESTRUCTIVE TESTING SERVICES, AND
ENGINEERS OF SAN DIEGO FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE
A,UTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council
concurs, that a contract for testing services is appropriate;
and,
WHEREAS, the construction manager and City staff have
recommended Testing Engineers of San Diego for said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a
contract per Exhibit 1 with Testing Engineers not to exceed
$30,000.00 in time and materials for the duration of the
construction of the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center funded
from Account No. 114-820-1810-3006.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 4th day of June Y
1985 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Council Mrs Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Ckick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
