RESOLUTION NO. 8120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF
BOOK SHELVING FOR THE CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Library have donated
$9,357.64 for the purpose of purchasing and installing book
shelving in the Genealogy Section of the Carlsbad City Library;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift
pursuant to Section 37354 and 37355 of the California Government
Code ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the donation of the funds
to purchase the book shelving on behalf of all citizens of the
City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 30th day of JdY I
1985, by the following vote, to wit:
