RESOLUTION NO. 8126
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
CARLSBAD SAFETY AND SERVICE CENTER.
TO CONTRACTS 3006-1A AND 3006-1D FOR THE
WHEREAS, additional expenditures of $73,668.65 are
required for the removal of sub-surface rock at the project;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has already approved contracts in the
amount of $651,024 which contained rock allowances which have
proven inadequate; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in Account No. 300-820-1810-
3006; and
WHEREAS, these additional expenditures are necessary and
justified per the Construction Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The change orders in the amount of $73,669. 26 from
Account No. 300-820-1810-3006 are hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 6th day of August 9
1985 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Council =rs Casler, Lswis, Kulchin, and Chick
NOES: None
