RESOLUTION NO. 8179 --
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSRAD,
TO 8E USED FOR THE PURCHASE OF USED VEHICLES. CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE OPEN MARKET PROCEDURES
WHEREAS, the City has established the desirability of purchasing used
vehicles.
WHEREAS, the formal bidding process is not in the best interest of the
City.
WHEREAS, the use of the Open Market Procedures is appropriate for the
purchase of used vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to use the Open Market
Procedures for the purchase of used vehicles.
3. That this Resolution shall be effective upon the effective date of
Ordinance No. 1283
PASSU), APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Concil held on the 10th day of - September , 1985, by the following
vote, to wit:
