RESOLUTION NO. 8187
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, RE3ECTING ALL BIE FOR THE GRADING OF STAECOACH
COMMUNITY PARK AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING OFFICER AND THE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has
CITY CLERK TO RE-ADVERTISE AND INVITE BIDS FOR THE GRADING PR03ECT
determined that it is necessary and in the public interest to build Stagecoach
Community Park; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received for the grading of Stagecoach Community
Park; and
WHEREAS, the Consultant and staff recommend that all bids be rejected;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the public interest requires
the Council to exercise its discretion under Section 20166 of the Public
Contract Code of the State of California and reject all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows :
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bids for the grading of Stagecoach Community Park are hereby
rejected.
3. That the Purchasing Officer and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
proceed to publish in accordance with law, Notice to Bidders, inviting bids for
the grading of Stagecoach Community Park.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 24th day of September , 1985, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Council Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES:
ABSENT: None
