RESOLUTION NO. 8200
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A BEQUEST OF FUNDS FOR THE CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, the Estate of Eleanor 14. Blayney has bequested $25,000.00 for
che purpose of purchasing books and related materials for the Genealogy
Section of the Carlsbad City Library; and
CJHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant to
Section 37354 and 37355 of the California Government Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the bequest of the funds to purchase
the books and materials on behalf of all citizens of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 1st day of October , 1985, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Pkrhers Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NGES: None
ABSENT:
