RESOLUTION NO. 8208
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
LIBRARY LEASED SPACE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the City
Library requires additional space for the Civic Arts and Media
Services Programs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that leasing
commercial space for these functions at this time is necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council authorizes the library to lease
appropriate space for the Civic Arts and Media Services Programs
on a month-to-month basis.
3. That the City Council appropriates $8,375.00 for this
purpose and approves a transfer of said funds from the General
Fund's Contingency Account to the library's accounts designated
for the Civic Arts and Media Services Programs.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 15th day of October I
1985, by the followina vote, to wit:
