HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-10-15; City Council; Resolution 82271 2 3 4 5 6 7 e 9 ZC 13 12 1: 14 1E It 1: 1E 1I 2( 21 2: 21 2L 2: 26 27 2& CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 8227 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, TO REVISE CONDITION NO. 39 OF PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO, 2224 AS ADOPTED BY CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO, 7457 TO PERMIT CT 83-21/PUD-57 TO GAIN SECONDARY ACCESS FROM HARWICH DRIVE AND GLASGOW DRIVE RATHER THAN TAMARACK AVENUE AND COLLEGE AVENUE IN THE P-C ZONE. APPLICANT: TREETOPS UNLIMITED CASE NO: CT 83-21/PUD-57 WHEREAS, said revision has already been considered in conjunction with a previously approved environmental document and therefore a Notice of Prior Environmental Compliance was issued on September 7, 1985 in compliance with the requirements of the City of Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance and the California Environmental Quality Act. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California as follows: A. That the above recitations are true and correct. B. That the proposed revision will provide adequate secondary access to CT 83-21/PUD-57. C. That the proposed revision will provide street improvements around the future Calavera Hills Park in a timely manner . D. EXHIBIT "A" AUGUST 29, 1985 CONDITION NO. 39 OF PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2224/CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO, 7457. 39) Tamarack Avenue shall be improved full width within each unit prior to the occupancy of any buildings within that unit. The street shall be extended south to the existing Tamarack Avenue based on a pavement width of not less than 28 feet in a 60 foot right-of-way prior to the occupancy of any buildings in the subdivision, Tamarack Avenue shall be extended to College Avenue based on a pavement width of not less than 28 feet in a. 30 foot minimum right-of-way prior to the occupancy of any buildings in Units 2, 3 or 4. PROPOSED REVISION: 39) Tamarack Avenue shall be improved full width within each unit prior to the occupancy of any buildings within that unit. The street shall be extended south to the existing Tamarack Avenue based on a pavement width of not less than 28 feet in a 60 foot right-of-way prior to the occupancy of any buildings in the subdivision. Prior to occupancy of any buildings in Units 2, 3 or 4 an acceptable secondary access shall be provided to this site. This shall be accomplished by extending Harwich Avenue full width through Village L-1 and half-width, 28 feet of pavement in a 60 foot minimum right-of-way, through Village K to its intersection with Glasgow Drive. Glasgow Drive shall be constructed half width from its present northerly terminus to Harwich Drive along the frontage of Village E-2. This shall include sidewalk and curb adjacent to the park site. Elm Avenue shall be constructed half width from its easterly terminus to Glasgow Drive along the frontage of Village E-2. This shall include sidwalk and curb adjacent to the park site.
