RESOLUTION NO. 8235
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BlDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF CONTRACT NOS. 3006-5A, 3006-58, and 3006-5D FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CARLSBAD SAFETY AND SERVICE CENTER.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the construc-
tion of the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center on Contract Nos. 3006-5A
Concrete, 3006-58 Masonry, and 3006-5D Metal and Acoustical Ceilings; and
WHEREAS, the bids received for the contracts total $712,492.00; and
WHEREAS, the Construction Manager has recommended acceptance of the bids;
and
WHEREAS, the funds are available in Account No. 332-820-1810-3006;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bids as recommended by the Koll Co., in the amount of $712,492.00
for 5
are hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute
construction of the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center Bid Package No.
contracts thereafter.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 22nd day of October , 1985 by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
