RESOLUTION NO. 8241
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE CONTRACT FOR
PROJECT NOS.3179 AND 3180 FOR RECONSTRUCTION
OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT CARLSBAD BOULEVARD/
GRAND AVENUE AND EL CAMINO REAL/CHESTNUT AVENUE.
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of
Carlsbad for the reconstruction of traffic signals, Project
Nos. 3179 and 3180; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for the said traffic
signals was submitted by Steiny and Co., Inc,, in the amount of
$107,937.00; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the amount of
$114,000.00, Account No. 110-820-18-40-3179 for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $107,937.00 by Steiny and Co., Inc, for
Project Nos. 3179 and 3180 for the reconstruction of traffic
signals at Carlsbad Boulevard/Grand Avneue and El Camino
Real/Chestnut Avenue is hereby accepted, and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract thereafter.

the Carlsbad City Council held on the - 29thday of October 7
1985 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
