RESOLUTION NO. 8253
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF PURCHASE ORDERS FOR THE PURCHASE OF NINE TRUCKS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows :
1. That the bid of Allen GMC Trucks, 28332 Camino Capistrano, Laguna
Idiguel, CA 92677, for Items 1 and 5, as shown in Exhibit A, is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Purchase Order in the
amount of $20,193.89 plus tax for a total of $21,405.52;
2. That the bid of Pearson Ford, 4300 El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego, CA
92105, for Item 112 as shown in Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the City
vlanager is hereby authorized to execute a Purchase Order in the amount of
$6,682.00, plus tax, for a total of $7,082.92.
3. That the bid of Palomar GMC, 520 Gannon Place, Escondido, CA 92025, is
for Items #3, 4 and 8 as shown in Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the City
Vtanager is hereby authorized to execute a Purchase Order in the amount of
$34,407.00, plus tax for a total of $36,471.42.
4. That the bid of DeAnza Chevrolet, 8200 Auto Drive, Riverside, CA
92504, for Items 6, 7 and 9, as shown in Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the
Eity Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Purchase Order in the amount of
$36,060.00 plus tax, for a total of $38,223.60.
