RESOLUTION NO. 8268
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORJSIIA, APPROVING FEES FOR
THE COMMUNITY DIRECTIONAL SIGN PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Counil of the City of Carlsbad,
California, has approved a community directional sign program to
provide direction to new subdivisions in the city; and
WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with Sun
Zal Outdoor Advertising to construct, install and maintain the
community directional signs; and
WHEREAS, the agreement provides for the City Council to
approve the fees that are charged for leasing space on the signs
and to recover administrative cost associated with the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, that the following fees are
established for the community directional sign program:
1. Sun Cal Outdoor Advertising shall pay the city a $100
installation fee for each kiosk structure approved for construction in the city.
2. Sun Cal Outdoor Advertising shall pay the city a
monthly fee of $20 for each single-faced sign or $30 for each
ouble-faced sign approved for installation on a kiosk structure.
3. Sun Cal Outdoor Advertising is authorized to charge
ubdividers a monthly leasing fee of $90 to $125 per sign.
