RESOLUTION NO. 8388
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ~UNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAIUSEAD, CALIFOTWIA, FEJFCI” ALL BIDS FOR A
MOBILE lXl”SIvE CARE UNIT, AND IWIFlONZING THE
PURCHASING OFFICER TO INVITE BIJX WITH REVISEXI SPECIFICATIONS.
WKEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it is
iecessary and in the pblic interest to acquire a Mobile Intensive Care Unit;

WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for a Mobile
Intensive Care Unit; and
WHEREAS, the bids “e in over the kidgeted munt; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the pblic interest requires
the Council to exercise its discretion under Section 3.28.120 of the Carlsbad
Yunicipal Code and reject all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California as follavs:
1. That the abve recitations are true and correct.

The the bids for the Mobile Intensive Care Unit are hereby rejected.
That the Purchasing Officer of the City of Carlsbad is hereby
authorized and directed to proceed to publish in accordance with law, Notice to
Bidders inviting bids for a Pbbile Intensive Care Unit hereindbove, described
in accordance with specifications hereinabove referred to.
