CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 8401
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AND PARSONS
BRINCKERHOFF QUADE & DOUGLAS, INC. FOR PREP-
ARATION OF A PLANNING/TFtAFFIC ANALYSIS OF THE
NORTHERN BEACH AREA OF THE CITY, AND APPOINTMENT
OF A TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. That certain agreement between the City of Carlsbad
and Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, Inc. for preparation of a
planning/traffic analysis of the northern beach area of the City is
hereby approved.
2. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized
and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the
City of Carlsbad.
3. That a fund transfer in the amount of $37,900.00, on
file in the Finance Department and incorporated herein by
reference, to fund this contract is approved.
4. That one representative from each of the following
groups be appointed to serve on a Technical Advisory Committee for
the term of the contract:
Planning Commission
Traffic Safety Commission
Beach Area Residents
Engineering Department Planning Department
Beach Area Owners
Chamber of Commerce

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, on the 11th
day of February , 1986 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
