RESOLUTION NO. 8409
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA GRANTING AN APPEAL OF A
PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION TO DENY PARK VIEW
EAST CT 85-21/LCDP 85-3 AND RETURNING THE MATTER
TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR FURTHER REPORT
WHEREAS, the City Council at the meeting of February
4, 1986, considered an appeal by the applicant of a Planning
Commission's decision to deny a 36 lot/35 unit tentative map and
planned unit development in Neighborhood SE-10 of the La Costa
Master Plan, CT 85-21/LCDP 85-3 Park View East, and
WHEREAS, at the hearing the applicant asked that the
project be returned to the Planning Commission for further
consideration after the Planning Commission has received the
pending traffic study for the La Costa area. The applicant
expressly consented to any necessary continuances in the
processing of the project to allow that to occur and recognized
that in the interim, the Council may adopt density, open space
and other growth management and public facilities phasing
requirements which would be applied to the project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined to grant the
appeal as requested by the applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City
Council as follows:
(1) That the above recitations are true and correct.
(2) That the appeal of the above referenced project is granted
and the matter is returned to the Planning Commission for
further report after completion of the La Costa traffic
study.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the

City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California held on the 11th
day of February , 1986 by the following vote to wit:
