A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION TO DENY CASA LOMA CONDOS CT 84-43/CP-302 AND RETURNING THE MATTER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR FURTHER REPORT
WHEREAS, the City Council at the meeting of February 4,
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA GRANTING AN APPEAL OF A
1986, considered an appeal by the applicant of the Planning
Commission's decision to deny an 18 unit tentative map and
condominium permit, CT 84-43/CP-302 - Casa Loma Condos, and
WHEREAS, at the hearing the applicant asked that the
project be returned to the Planning Commission for further
considerat ion after the Planning Commission has received the
pending traffic study for the La Costa area. The applicant
expressly consented to any necessary continuances in the
processing of the project to allow that to occur and recognized
that in the interim, the Council may adopt density, open space
and other growth management and public facilities phasing
requirements which would be applied to the project, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined to grant the appea:
as requested by the applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City
Council as follows:
(1) That the above recitations are true and correct.
(2) That the appeal of the above referenced project is granted
and the matter is returned to the Planning Commission for
further report after completion of the La Costa traffic
study.
