RESOLUTION NO. 8476
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT FOR
LAGOON EDUCATIONAL PARK (SAMMIS) . IMPLEMENTATION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 86-6, BATIQUITOS
WHEREAS, on March 12, 1986, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
reviewed and. agreed to the selection of a team of consultants to assist the
City staff in preparing documents and processing the district; and
WHEREAS, in the event the proceedings are terminated or abandoned prior
to or during the formation of the district, all incurred costs are to be borne
by Sammis Properties; and
WHEREAS, Sammis Properties has agreed to advance funds to pay the total
cost of consultants and City administrative costs for the implemention of
Assessment District No. 86-6; and
WHEREAS, the above referenced funds in the ainount of $117,000 whereby
$10,000 is included for City administrative costs have been received in
addition to reimbursement agreement from Sammis and are hereby appropriated
for this project in account number 402-820-1840-3223.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Agreement for Assessment District Reimbursement between
Sammis Properties and the City of Carlsbad, which is on file with the City
Clerk and incorporated by this reference, is approved.
3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the consultant agreement.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 1st day of April , 1986 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
