RESOLUTION NO. 8556
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUT1-IORIZII.K: THE EXECUTION
OF PtlRCHASE ORDERS FOR THE PURCHASE OF FURNISHIKS FOR THE CARLSBAD PUBLIC SAFETY AND SERVICE CENTER
WHEIREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the furnishing
for the Carlsbad Safety and Service Center; and
WHEREAS, the bids received total $470,616.38; and
WHEREAS, the appropriation of funds in the mount of $471,000.00 from the
unreserved fund balance to Account No. 300-820-1810-3006 is necessary to provid
funding for this project; and
WHEREAS, upon such appropriation, unencumbered ftnds in the amount of
$471,000.00 are available in Account No, 300-820-1810-3006 for the purpose
herein stated.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council sf the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows :
1. That the bid of Parron ilall for Sections (1) and (4) as shown in
Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized t
execute a Purchase Order for the purchase of furnishings for the Carlsbad Publi
Safety and Service Center, in the mount of $299,088.55.
2.
Exhibit A, is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized 1
execute a Purchase Order for the purchase of furnishings for the Carlsbad PubU
Safety and Service Center, in the mount of $171,527.83.
That the bid of B-M Cox for Sections (21, (31, and (5) as shown in
