A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO VACATE LOGANBERRY DRIVE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby declares
its intention to proceed, under the provisions of the Public
Streets, Highways, and Service Easement Vacation Law of 1981,
to vacate Loganberry Drive, located in the City of Carlsbad,
County of San Diego, State of California, particularly
described on Exhibit "A1', attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein.
A public hearing shall be held at the City Council
Chambers at 1200 Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California, at 6:OO P.M.
on July 15, 1986 for all persons interested in or objecting to
said proposed vacaion.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 1st day of July 9
1986 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None

STREET VACATION
All that portion of that public street known as Loganberry Drive
in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, being also a portion of Carlsbad Tract No. 81-6 according to
Map thereof No. 10829 on file in the Office of the County Recorder
of said San Diego County more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of Lot 4 of said Map No.
10829 said point being on the Northeasterly line of said Loganberry Drive right-of-way; thence along said right-of-way South 47°10153" East, 482.84 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly having a radius of 50.00'feet; thence Southeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 23'33'23" a distance of 20.56 feet to a point of reverse curvature and the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of
70.00 feet a radial to said point bears South 19O15'44" West; thence Southeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 92O27'47" a distance of 112.96 feet to a point of reverse curvature and a curve concave Southeasterly having a radius of
50.00 feet, a radial to said point bears North 68'16'29" West;
thence Southerly along the arc of said curve through a central
angle of 23O33'23" a distance of 20.56 feet; thence South 1O49'52"
East, 119.51 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Eortheasterly having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Southeasterly
along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 90'00'00"
a distance of 39.27 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way
line of that 100.00 foot wide street known as Avenida Encinas; thence along said Northerly line North 88°10'08" East, 110.00 feet to the beginning of a curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Northeasterly along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 90°00'OO" a distance of 39.27 feet; thence North 1O49'52" West, 159.11 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of 20.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 45°21'01" a distance of 15.83 feet; thence North
47°10'53" West, 663.22 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly having a radius of 20.00 feet; thence Westerly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 62°40'07" a distance of 21.88 feet;.thence South 70°09'00" West, 134.56
feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Southwesterly along the arc
of said curve through a central angle of 90°00'OO" a distance of
39.27 feet to a point on the Northeasterly right-of-way line of
the aforementioned Avenida Encinas; thence along said Northeasterly
right-of-way line North 19°51100" West, 55.00 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave Southwesterly having a radius of
650.00 feet; thence continuing along said right-of-way line

of 4O40'25" a distance of 53.01 feet to a point of cusp and the
beginning of a 25' radius curve concave Northeasterly, a radial
line to said point bears North 65O28'35" East; thence leaving
said Northeasterly right-of-way line of Avenida Encinas and South-
easterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 85O19'35" a distance of 37.23 feet; thence North 70°09'00" East,
101.02 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave North-
westerly having a radius of 50.00 feet; thence along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 23'33'23" a distance of 20.56 feet to a point of reverse curvature and the beginning of a
curve concave Southerly and having a radius of 70.00 feet; a
radial line to said point bears North 43O24'23" West; thence
Southeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central
angle of 109°46'53" a distance of 134.12 feet to a point of reverse
curvature and the beginning of a curve concave Easterly and having a radius of 50.00 feet; a radial line to said point bears North
66°22'30" East; thence Southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 23O33'23" a distance of 20.56 feet; thence South 47°10'53" East, 104.99 feet to the most Southerly corner
of said Lot 4 and the POINT OF BEGINNING.
