RESOLUTION NO. 8647
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING
A MAP AND ESTABLISHING AREA OF BENEFIT
FOR BRIDGE AND THOROUGHFARE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA
is considering the formation of a bridge and thoroughfare
district, as authorized under Section 66484 of the Government Code
of the State of California, and specifically as authorized by
Section 20.08.149 of the Municipal Code of the City of Carlsbad;
said district to be known and designated as
BRIDGE AND THOROUGHFARE DISTRICT NO. 1
(hereinafter referred to as the "District"); and,
WHEREAS, there has been submitted a map showing the area of
benefit for said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2. That a map of the District, showing the bounda-
ries and area of benefit of the proposed District and lands and
property to be charged to pay the costs and expenses of the
proposed improvements designated as
"PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF
BRIDGE AND THOROUGHFARE DISTRICT NO. 1"
is nereby submitted, and the same is hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. That the original map of said proposed boundaries
and area of benefit of the proposed District shall be filed in the
Office of the City Clerk.

City Council held on the 1st day of July , 1986,
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
