RESOLUTION NO. 8667
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CRRLSBAD, CALIFORNIA ESTABLISHING AN AGRICULTURAL
CONVERSION FEE FOR THE WEST BATIQUITOS LAGOON/
SAMMIS PROPERTIES LOCAL COASTAL PROGRAM SEGMENT.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
does resolve as follows:
1. The agricultural conversion fee established by the
West Batiuuitos Lagoon/Sammis Properties Local Coastal Program
Segment [City Council Resolution No. 8228, approved by the
Coastal Commission on November 22, 19851 is hereby declared to
be $5,000.
2. The fee shall be paid to the Coastal Conservancy
prior to the transmittal of the coastal development permit, base
upon the amount of agricultural land which the permit authorizes
for conversion to urban uses. The total amount of agricultural
land for the Local Coastal Program Segment area is 100 acres.
The noney shall be spent by the Conservancy based upon the
priority established in the Local Coastal Program Segment.

3. The City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of
this resolution to the Coastal Commission.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the
8th day of July , 1986 by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
