RESOLUTION NO. 8673
A RESOLTUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING THE SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
TO PROVIDE CUSTODIAL SERVICES TO
SPECIFIC CITY BUILDINGS
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to perform
custodial services at certain City buildings, and
WHEREAS, providing contract custodial service has been
determined by City staff to be cost effective to the City of
Carlsbad,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
City of Carlsbad does hereby authorize the advertisements
bids and approves the specifications involved with providing
custodial services to certain City buildings, a copy of which
is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part thereof.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR BIDS
CONTRACT CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR CITY
The Contractor will furnish and maintain insurance
including Public Liability, Workers' Compensation
in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
The Contractor will provide, maintain, and repair their
own equipment.
City will provide all paper products; Contractor will provide all other chemicals and supplies needed to maintain the facilities.
COMPLIANCE
The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, County
and City Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations.
SUPERVISION
The Contractor shall provide on-site supervision of all workers.
The City Building Maintenance Supervisor and/or Custodian I1 shall monitor the custodial services contract and act as
the City's liaison with the Contractor.
PRE-BID WALK THRU
A pre-bid walk thru will be held on
starting at 8:OO a.m. from City Hall Lobby.
Bidders are urged to call 438-5571 to leave name of company
