RESOLUTION NO. 8760
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA CLOSING OLYPMIA DRIVE
AT THE INTERSECTION OF ELM AVENUE
WHEREAS, Olympia Drive was constructed to serve as an access into
the Quail Ridge subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the completion of Olympia Drive is in a location that
violates City of Carlsbad standards for intersection spacing; and
WHEREAS, there is a sight distance restriction on Elm Ave west of
its intersection with Olympia Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Olympia Drive at the
Elm Avenue is no longer needed as a public street due intersection
to unsafe conditions;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
