RESOLUTION NO. 8795
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A
PROPOSAL FOR LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE SERVICE
WHEREAS, the City requires long distance telephone service; and
WHEREAS, the City sent out requests for proposals for long distance
telephone service in accordance with the purchasing requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct; and
2. MCI Telecommunications Corporation, 26 Executive Park, Suite 150,
Irvine, CA 92714 is hereby authorized to provide long distance telephone
service to the City of Carlsbad in accordance with their proposal dated 3uly 21,
1986.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 16th day of September , 1986, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
