RESOLUTION NO. 8807
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO QUIT CLAIM AN EASEMENT
AND TO ACCEPT A GRANT DEED FOR AN ALTERNATE ALIGNMENT OF A SEWER LINE
WHBREAS, the sewer line contractor has requested an alternate alignment
for construction of a sewer line across the May Stores parking lot, and;
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority previously granted the easement and
will be required to grant the easement for the alternate alignment, and;
WHEREAS, the original easement is no longer useable for sewer line
purposes ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The Mayor is authorized to accept a grant deed from the Parking
Authority for the alternate alignment and to execute a quit claim deed for
the original alignment.
3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the
original deeds to be recorded in
County, State of California, with the appropriate certificate of acceptance,
attached .
