RESOLUTION NO. 8811
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIA-
TING FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND CONTIN-
CARLSBAD BOBBY-SOX TEAM GENCY ACCOUNT FOR A DONATION TO THE
WHEREAS, the City Council supports the efforts of the
Carlsbad Bobby-Sox Team to raise money to defray expenses incurred
in participating in the Southern California Bobby-Sox Playoffs in
Buena Park, and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed and the Finance Department
executed a check for $500 to Carlsbad Bobby-Sox,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, that $500 is appropriated from
the General Fund contingency account (001-840-1990-2999) to the
City Council account for community donations (001-840-1010-2993)
for the donation made to Carlsbad Bobby-Sox.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council held on the 23rd day of September ,
1986, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Casler, Lewis, Kulchin, Chick and Pettine
NOES: None
ABSENT: None n
